College students and alumni get the magazine for free. Simply register with your college or alumni email address. The email address has to end with '.edu' to be recognized as a college email address. All others can get the magazine for just $9.95 for one year's subscription (4 issues per year).

The magazine is published 4 times a year.  The Fall issue is released around September, the Winter issue around January, Spring issue around April and the Summer issue around July.  Students and alumni can get the magazine for free simply by subscribing online with their college email address (email address ending in '.edu').
